Using a universal remote control for a
SPECTRAL sound system
The main functions of the SPECTRAL sound system can also be controlled by
other universal remote controls.
The following functions can be controlled by IR signals:
Power
Mute
Volume +/-
mode
input signal
scroll key
arrow keys
Please note:
The IR link system is required to use a universal remote control for a SPECTRAL
sound system.
Fix the IR transmitter at the back of the device with the xing clip (please refer to
picture „Rear view..., page 40/41).
Learning IR commands:
Start the „Learn Menu“ by pressing <exit> and <m> at the same time, select
„IR Learn“ and take the last position „sound system“.
Conrm you selection by pressing <ok>. Press „exit“ to leave the menu.
Use <sel> to select the sound system. Now you can assign the single functions
of your SPECTRAL sound sytem to another universal remote control.
4.1 and 5.1 mode
The Pre (2.1/5.1 Mode) output enables the connection of active wireless
loudspeakers, for example.
Depending on the selected setting in the system menu (Factory Set/system preset),
the front channels are put out in the 2.1 mode or the surround loudspeakers in
the 4.1/5.1 mode.
Connecting additional loudspeakers you can use the SPECTRAL sound system
also in 4.1 or 5.1 mode:
BRA1, CLA1, CTA1/2, VRA1: Connecting additional active loudspeakers for
rear right and left enables 4.1 mode.
Option: additional active subwoofer
CLA1, CTA2: Connecting additional active loudspeakers for rear
right and left and an additional passive center
speaker enables 5.1 mode.
Option: additional active subwoofer
If additional speakers are connected you have to select the corresponding mode
in the system menu (factory set => system preset).
The sound parameters of these speakers are adjustable in the speaker setup (level
trim, speaker distance and room comp).
