Why is my Speed Queen Washer so noisy?
    • T
      Tiffany ButlerAug 20, 2025
If your Speed Queen washer is noisy, try opening the lid and redistributing the load to balance it. Make sure the washer is level. A newly installed washer may make knocking sounds if it has been in storage; running it through 4-5 cycles can help loosen the belt. Note that washer operation will not be affected.

Why is my Speed Queen AWNE92 leaking water?
    • M
      Michael ByrdAug 25, 2025
If your Speed Queen washer is leaking water, check that the fill hoses are properly installed on the faucets and the washer’s water mixing valve. Inspect the condition of the fill hoses and replace them every five years. Make sure the drain receptacle isn't clogged. Check the laundry room plumbing and the house water pressure. Leaking may occur with extremely low water pressure, or the laundry load may be oversudsing or overloaded. Use less detergent (or low-sudsing detergent) and ensure proper load sizes.

Inspect the laundry room fuse or circuit breaker. Clean the screens in the water mixing valve and the filter screens at the faucet end of the fill hoses.
