Summary

Dismantle and Replacement

Console Dismantle and Assembling

Unscrew 4 Phillips Head Screws (99) with a Phillips Head Screw Driver (114) to release the Console.

Handle and Console Mast Assembly

Remove Handle Bar Cover (141), use a 12/14 m/m wrench to release screws and washers to detach the Handlebar Assembly (3).

Crank and Pedal Disassembly

Use a 13/15m/m wrench to turn the Left Pedal (116) clockwise and Right Pedal (117) counterclockwise to disassemble them.

Front Chain Covers Disassembly

Left Front Chain Cover

Use a Phillips Head Screw Driver to release 7 Self Tapping Screws (103) and 2 Tapping Screws (102) for the Left Front Chain Cover (29).

Right Front Chain Cover

Unscrew 2 Self Tapping Screws (107) with washers on the mainframe, then unscrew 2 Tapping Screws on the cover and unplug wires.

Belt and Idle Arm Disassembly

Drive Pulley Axle and Drive Pulley Disassembly

Generator Flywheel Disassembly

Rear Chain Covers Disassembly

Seat Carriage Disassembly

Problem Solving: Console

Blank Display Troubleshooting

Check computer cable insertion and connecting cables between generator flywheel and controller for a blank console display.

Problem Solving: Chain Covers and Round Disk Cover

Rubbing Noise Diagnosis

Rubbing noises are usually due to Round Disk Cover alignment or rubbing between Crank and Chain Covers.

Problem Solving: Belt and Idle Arm

Belt Falling Off

If belt falls off, check chain covers, idle arm, drive pulley, and generator flywheel alignment.

Belt Slippage

Tightening M8x7T Nut (88) on M8 x 170J-Bolt (87) will fix the problem of belt slippage.

Problem Solving: Cylinder

Cylinder Function Issue

If the cylinder cannot function properly, replace it following Step 8.
