4.3 MEASURE OF DENSITY
It will be measured the density of the fluid contained in the tank.
LIGHTER SG must be set to 0: alternatively to the selection of the Kg/l measurement
unit or the DENSITY transfer function, an error message will be displayed;
PV UNIT must be set to Kg/l, or XFR FUNCT must be set to DENSITY;
LRV must be set to the minimum density of the process liquid (default 0);
URV must be set to the maximum density of the process liquid.
PV will be the measurement of the
density of the process fluid expressed
in Kg/l.
The LRV value is the minimum density
of the process fluid and the URV is the
maximum density of the process fluid
to be set. In this mode it isn’t possible
to modify the values of HEAVIER SG
and LIGHTER SG.
The PV will be the density of the fluid.
If the LIGHTER SG value is different
from 0 (measurement condition of
interface) it isn’t possible to pass at
the density measurement (selecting the
unit of measure Kg/l or the XFR FUNCT
“Density”).
MANDATORY!
To have this measurement available the displacer MUST BE completely immersed in
the process fluid. It must be selected kg/l as density measurement unit-
