That bottom right quadrantis where all the action happens in Diablo
graphics. HyPlotcallsthetopleftcomerof thepageits origin,andworks
downand to the rightfromthere.The onlydifferencebetweenCartesian
pointcoordinatesandHyPlotdotaddresseesis thatHyPlotneverneedsthe
negativesign:Cartesian(30,–12)is thesamepointas HyPlot(30, 12).
HyPlot: six steps
WithHyPlotyougo throughsix stepsto producea graphicsimage:
1)EnterHyPlotmode
2) Selectplottingstyle:absolute(measuredfromthetop leftcomer)or
relative(measuredfromthestartingprintposition)
3) Chooseplottingsymbol(dot,asterisk,etc.)
4) Setplottingprecision(in incrementsfrom 1/120to 31/120inch)
5) Describeplotvectors(acomplexwayofdefiningXandYcoordinates
foreachpointto be plotted)
6)LeaveHyPlotmode.
