4.8 Clear to zero
The clear-to-zero operation can be done by Head End System with the highest authority only.
4.8.1 Clear the meter to zero
Clear the maximum demand, frozen data, event records and load records stored in the meter.
The clear-to-zero shall be recorded permanently as an event, a measure to prevent the unauthorized personnel
from operating is available.
4.9 Programming, meter reading
According to the requirement of users, the power management department can use the infrared communication or
by HES to read the meter and do business.
Data transmission rate: infrared: 9600bps; data format is 8N1 (8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity).
4.10 Clock
1) The clock has functions such as calendar, timekeeping, automatic switching of leap year, the built-in
high-precision quartz crystal (<5 ppm) to ensure that the error is less than 0.5 seconds / day.
2) Use an environmentally friendly lithium battery (not less than 15 years of life) as a clock backup power
supply. When the battery voltage is insufficient, the LCD will prompt a low voltage tip, and the energy
meter battery is replaceable.
3) The time can be synchronized via the HES and infrared communication port.
4) The clock supports the time range of 2012-1-1 to 2099-12-31
4.12 Sag and Swell
When the voltage of each phase applied to the energy meter is lower than sag voltage threshold and last for a
specified period, the energy meter confirms it as Sag event. Also, when the voltage of each phase is higher than
Swell voltage threshold and last for a specified period, the energy meter confirms it as Swell event.
The default sag threshold is 150V and the default swell threshold is 264V, the default detection period is 30
seconds. All the parameters are configurable.
If a phase is not supplied voltage, meter will not detect the sag and swell for this phase.
After the Sag or Swell is confirmed, the energy meter will record event and also disconnect the relay. When the
voltage applied the energy meter is recovered to normal, user can long press (more than 5 seconds) any button or
key on the meter to reconnect the breaker immediately, otherwise the relay will reconnect automatically after 300
