Assembly screws to secure energy meters on a facility
The seal and sealing tool of the utility;
A flat-head screwdriver/Phillips screwdriver to fasten screws;
Drilling tools for assembly (as necessary), and multimeter.

6.4 Precautions for installation
1) Before wiring, please carefully check the wiring diagram on the terminal cover to confirm that the phase
line, the neutral wire and the ground wire of the cable correspond to the wiring diagram on the terminal
cover. It is best to use copper conductor or copper fittings introduced.
2) If the cable has been used before, cut off the end of cable first and make sure that the exposed cable is about
26mm long in length for wiring; if the cable diameter is between 3mm and 6.5mm, connect directly to the
mobile terminal securely; if the diameter of the cable is less than 3 mm, clamp the end of the cable with a
copper or aluminum bushing of suitable size to prevent poor contact and then cause burnout of the
terminals.
3) First, loosen the two screws on each mobile terminal, and then perform the wiring and tighten the two
screws on each mobile terminal to ensure secure and good contact.
4) After finishing the correct wiring, close the terminal cover and apply the dedicated seal of the utility;
5) After the meter is powered, please check the operation condition, if the meter runs normally then record
the readings of the meter; if not, please carefully check the installation and wiring as well as the
operating voltage of the meter;
7. Transport & storage
The meter shall not be subject to strong shock during transport and unpacking and shall be transported and stored
according to applicable regulations.
The meter shall be stored in the original packages and on racks of the warehouse with one stack not exceeding 8
boxes.
