ENGINE START
Prior to driving the vehicle category T3b read
the Operation manual carefully.

understand the control principles and avoid
the loss of control which may cause an
accident.
If you do not understand the purpose of any
control element, contact the vendor.

Engine start

Prior to driving in cold weather, make sure
that all the control wire cables are moving
easily.
Do not drive if the wire cables movement
is hindered due to the freezing-out as it
may cause an accident.

Prior to start the engine for the first time,
read the section “Engine running-in”.
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
1. Turn the ignition key in the ignition switch to
the «IGNITION» position.

Do not start the engine indoors. The exhaust
gases contain poisonous carbon monoxide,
which may cause the loss of consciousness
and, as a result, a severe injury or death.
Using the vehicle immediately after the
engine start-up may cause its damage.
Prior to starting off let the engine warm up for
several minutes. The warmed up engine
immediately “responds” to the throttle
opening.

2. Set the transmission gear box lever to the
Neutral or Parking position.
The corresponding mode indicator shouldtion
flash on on the dash board.

The engine may be started under the following
conditions:
● Transmission is in the neutral or parking position.
● Engine may be started with any gear if you push
the brake pedal or the rear brake lever.
However, it is recommended to select the
neutral gear or parking mode before starting
the engine.

3. Activate the braking system with the pedal or
brake levers and push the starter button.

If the engine does not start, release the starter
button and push it again. Prior to every attempt
to start the engine hold on for 30 seconds.
The attempts should be as short as possible to
prevent the accumulator battery discharge.
Do not turn the engine shaft for over 10
seconds during one attempt. After 3 attempts
to start the engine make a 10 min. break.

4. Warm up the engine till it operates smoothly at
idle speed.
Transmission gear lever control

Prior to shifting the gears stop the vehicle
and release the accelerator. Otherwise, the
transmission may be damaged.

From Neutral to High, from High to Low.
1. Bring the vehicle to a full stop.
2. Push the brake pedal. Holding the pedal, select
the High gear (H) using the transmission gear
lever (1), then the Low gear (L).
