Engine running-in
The first 20 operating hours are the most important
of all the engine service life. For that reason you
should read carefully the following information.
As the engine is new, do not overload it during the
first 20 operating hours. Various engine parts are
running- in to the correct operating gaps between
them.
During this period avoid the engine long-term operation
with the throttle fully open or under other conditions
which may cause the engine overheating.
To run-in the engine:
1. Fill the fuel tank with petrol.
2. Check the engine oil level.
3. Move slowly from the start. Choose an open space
so that nothing bars you from familiarizing yourself
with the vehicle control.
4. Change the throttle position. Do not operate it at
idle for a long time.
5. Monitor the fuel level, check regularly the control
elements indicated in the control list and the
segments which should be inspected before
every trip.
