Does altitude affect

water?
No. SteriPEN® products have
been tested and used on
Mount Everest for years. Cold
temperatures, however, can
affect battery performance, so
keep warm them before use.
Can I use QUANTUM™ to
treat more than 1 liter at a
time without a RapidUV™
RESERVOIR?
No, QUANTUM™’s effectiveness
is ONLY tested and certied for
1 liter volumes in standard 1
liter containers. QUANTUM™
can be used to treat up to 4
liters of water when used in
combination with the RapidUV™
Reservoir which is included in
the Quamtum Rapid Purication
System or is sold separately as
an accessory).
What about parasites like
worms and their eggs? Does
QUANTUM™ treat for them?
Due to animal testing
restrictions, QUANTUM™’s
effectiveness against such
parasites has not been certied.
Can QUANTUM™ treat
soda? Iced tea? Juice?
No. UV light will not
effectively destroy microbes in
beverages other than water.
