15. Troubleshooting
WARNING Electrocution
Before performing any work on the appliance, discon-
nect all poles from the power supply.
Note
When testing the appliance using the diagnostic traffic
lights, water must be flowing.
Signals of the diagnostic traffic lights (LED)
Red Lights up in the event of a fault
Yellow Lights up in heating mode/flashes when output limit
reached
Green Flashing: Appliance connected to power supply
Diagnostic traffic

Fault Cause Remedy
No LED illuminates. The appliance does not heat
up.
There is no power. Check the fuse/MCB in your fuse box/distribution
board.
The PCB is faulty. Replace the function module.
Green flashing, yellow
off, red off
No DHW
The shower head/ aerators are scaled up. Descale or replace the shower head/ aerators if
necessary.
The strainer in the cold water inlet is dirty. Clean the strainer.
The flow meter is not plugged in. Connect the cable to the PCB.
The flow meter is faulty. Replace the flow meter.
The PCB is faulty. Replace the function module.
Green flashing, yellow
on, red off
The display on the program-
ming unit is off.
There is a loose cable between the PCB and the pro-
gramming unit.
Check the cable and plug the cable into the program-
ming unit and/or PCB.
The cable of the programming unit is faulty. Check the cable and replace if necessary.
The programming unit PCB is faulty. Check the programming unit and replace if neces-
sary.
Green flashing, yellow
on, red off
The outlet temperature does
not match the set value.
The programming unit was not plugged in before
power was switched on.
Perform a reset by switching off the power to the
appliance.
The outlet sensor is faulty. Replace the outlet sensor.
The heating system is faulty. Replace the function module.
The PCB is faulty. Replace the function module.
Green flashing, yellow
off, red on
The outlet temperature does
not match the set value.
The safety switch is not enabled during "Initial start-
up".
Activate the safety switch by firmly pressing the reset
button.
The safety switch has responded. Remedy the cause and activate the safety switch.
Not all phases are connected to the appliance. Check the fuses/ MCBs.
The outlet sensor is faulty. Replace the outlet sensor.
15.1 Fault code display
If there is a fault on the appliance, a flashing spanner is displayed.
To call up the fault code, press and hold the "i" button for
longer than 5seconds.
Display shown Cause
E1 Fault in electronic safety circuit.
E2 Break or short circuit in inlet sensor.
E3 Short circuit in outlet sensor.
