All 4locking tabs on the programming unit must click into
place. The locking tabs must be complete and undam-
aged. If the programming unit is not inserted correctly,
protection of users against contact with live components
cannot be ensured.
 Insert the connecting cable plug of the programming unit
into the PCB (see chapter "Commissioning/ Initial start-up").
 Hook the appliance cover in at the bottom. Pivot the appli-
ance cover up to the back panel.
 Secure the appliance cover.
 Fit the cover on to the appliance cover.
13.13 Operation with preheated water
You can restrict the maximum inlet temperature by installing a
central thermostatic valve.
13.14 Registering the mini wireless remote control
The mini wireless remote control learning can be performed via
the programming unit; see chapter "Settings/ Service/ Wireless/
Log on other wireless subscribers".
However, if the programming unit is used outside of the appliance
(in accessories), open the appliance and perform learning as de-
scribed below for mini wireless remote control learning.

1 Wireless adaptor button for registering and deregistering
2 Yellow LED illuminates when mini wireless remote control is
active
 To start mini wireless remote control registration, briefly
press the wireless adaptor button in the appliance. The yel-
low LED starts to flash. The wireless adaptor remains in learn
mode for 30seconds.
 Now press the plus (+) button on the mini wireless remote
control for 3seconds. The red mini wireless remote control
LED indicates learn telegram sending.
The yellow LED on the wireless adaptor flashes in learn mode.
Once learning is completed successfully, the yellow LED flashes
twice. If learning was unsuccessful, the LED continues to flash until
learn mode ends (30seconds in total).
13.15 Registering DHE programming unit as wireless
remote control
If the programming unit is used outside the appliance with acces-
sories and the appliance is closed with the dummy cap, then you
must open the appliance for programming unit learning.
