FS 220, FS 280, FS 290 – Mounting
handle support and bike handle
Mounting the handle support
N Remove the seven mounting
screws from the support (1) and
take away the front part of the
support.
N Check that the nut (2) is in position
in the handle support.
N Fit the drive tube in the rear half of
the handle support – mounting area
for perforated strip must face
engine.
N Fit the perforated strip (3) and line
up the holes.
N Fit the front half of the support.
N Fit the seven mounting screws but
do not tighten them down yet.
N Position the support so that the
distance (A) between it and the
clutch housing (4) is about 24 cm.
N Now tighten down the seven
mounting screws on the support
firmly.
