Fitting the full harness is described in
detail in the instruction sheet supplied.
N Put on the full harness (1).
N Adjust the length of the strap so that
the carabiner (2) is about a hand’s
width below your right hip.
N Attach the spring hook to the
machine's perforated strip (3).
Find the right attachment point for the
cutting attachment you are using – see
"Balancing the Brushcutter".
N With the unit suspended from the
harness, see how it is balanced and
change attachment point as
necessary:
Circular Saw Blades
Circular saw blades should "hover"
about 20 cm above the ground.
Throwing off the machine in an
emergency
The machine must be quickly thrown off
in the event of imminent danger.
Practice removing and putting down the
machine as you would in an emergency.
To avoid damage, do not throw the
machine to the ground when practicing.
Operating elements
1 Throttle trigger lockout
2 Throttle trigger
3 Stop switch – with settings for Run
and Stop. To switch off the engine,
the stop switch (…) must be
pressed.
Function of the stop switch and the
ignition
When the stop switch is not actuated, it
is in the position Run: The ignition is
switched on – the engine is ready for
starting and can be started. If the stop
switch is actuated, the ignition is
switched off. Once the engine comes to
a standstill, the ignition is automatically
switched on again.
