7 Assembling the Pole Pruner
7.1 Assembling the Pole Pruner
Switch off the pole pruner and remove the battery.
Remove the protective cap (1).
Adjust the shaft length to a = 10 cm.
Mark b = 6 cm on the shaft (2).
Align the collet (4) and transmission (3) as shown.
Slide the transmission (3) onto the shaft (2) up to mark b.
Tighten down the screws (5) firmly.
If you cannot push the transmission (3) onto the shaft (2)
up to mark b:
Rotate the nut (7) counterclockwise until the chain
sprocket cover (6) can be removed.
Remove the chain sprocket cover (6).
Turn the chain sprocket (8) and push the transmission
(3) onto shaft (2) up to mark b.
Fit the chain sprocket cover (6) so that it is flush with the
pole pruner.
Fit the nut (7) and tighten it down firmly.
Undo the screws (9).
Pull out the protective tube (10).
