English 14 Using a Battery Harness
► Pull the strap (1) back through the ring (2) and battery
belt (3).
► Fasten the hook and eye fastener.
► Insert the AP battery (4) into the battery compartment (5).
► Secure the battery with the hook and eye fastener (6).
The length of the connecting cord can be adjusted by
making a loop (1) and securing it to the top of the battery
bag (3) with the hook and eye buckle (2).
► Always position and secure the connecting cord so that it
will not interfere with proper working technique or your
ability to maintain control of the power tool.
14.3.2 Putting on and Adjusting the Single Harness
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control and contact
with the cutting/working attachment, always wear a proper
harness as called for in your KombiTool manual.
To fit and adjust the single harness:
► Switch off the power tool, @ 16.2.
► Remove the connecting cord, @ 15.2.
► Put on the STIHL Battery Belt and AP Battery Bag with
Connecting Cord.
► Put the power tool harness over your shoulder.
► Adjust the length of the harness strap (1) so that the
carabiner (2) is about a hand’s width below the top of your
hip.
► Attach the carabiner to the carrying ring (3) on the power
tool.
