19 After Finishing Work
Observe all applicable laws, regulations, standards and 
ordinances.
19.1 Preparing for Transportation or Storage
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury from unintended 
activation or unauthorized use, switch off the motor, ensure 
the KombiTool and its cutting/working attachment have 
stopped and remove the connecting cord before transporting 
the power tool or putting it down.
To prepare the power tool for transportation or storage:
► Switch off, @ 16.2.
► Remove the connecting cord, @ 15.2.
► If the power tool became wet during operation, allow it to 
dry completely before charging or storing.
20.1 Transporting the KombiMotor
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury from unintended 
activation, never transport the KombiMotor with the 
connecting cord inserted.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control and blade or 
line contact, never carry or transport your power tool with the 
KombiTool or its cutting/working attachment moving, 
@ 7.5.4. Ensure the KombiTool and cutting/working 
attachment have stopped before setting the power tool 
down, @ 7.5.4.
When transporting the power tool:
► Always transport the power tool in accordance with the 
instructions found in this manual and the manual for the 
KombiTool being used.
► When transporting the KombiMotor in a vehicle, secure 
and position it to prevent turnover, impact and damage.
21.1 Storing the KombiMotor
WARNING
Store the KombiMotor and its KombiTools indoors in a dry, 
secure place that is inaccessible to children and other 
unauthorized users, @ 8. Improper storage can result in 
unauthorized use and damage to the KombiMotor, @ 8.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of unintended activation, never store the 
KombiMotor with the connecting cord inserted. Always 
remove the connecting cord before storing.
When storing the KombiMotor:
► Remove, clean and inspect the KombiTool and its 
cutting/working attachment.
► Clean the KombiMotor, @ 22.
► Store the KombiMotor and its KombiTools indoors in a dry 
and secure location, out of the reach of children and other 
unauthorized persons.
