Use the detergent suction hose to draw
detergent from a separate container.
The detergent is added to the water in
the high-pressure pump:
N Add the detergent to a separate
container and dilute it with water at
the ratio specified by the detergent
manufacturer
N Push the pickup body (1) as far as
possible into the container
N Connect the black 65° nozzle to the
spray lance
Detergent can only be used with the low-
pressure, 65° nozzle (black).
N When applying detergent, start at
the bottom and work upwards
For best results, never allow the
detergent to dry on the surface to be
cleaned. Read and follow the detergent
manufacturer's warnings and
instructions regarding proper use.
Cleaning the pickup body, hose and
injector
Each time after working with a
detergent, run clean water through the
pump to clean the hose and other
components of the pressure washer.
N Immerse the pickup body in clean,
detergent-free water
N Actuate the spray gun for
approx. 5 seconds to draw clean
water through the hose
See the Kohler owner's manual for
complete instructions on shutting off the
engine.
N Shut off the engine
N Turn off the water supply
N Squeeze and hold the spray gun
trigger until water only drips from the
high-pressure nozzle and the
system is depressurized
N Release the spray gun trigger (2)
and engage the trigger lockout (1)
