Stihl SR 450 - Adjusting the Metering Lever Cable

: Push the valve lever (1) into the
bore (arrow).
– Install the interlock lever and
throttle trigger, b 8.3
– Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
8.5 Metering Lever, SR 450
: Take out the screw (1) and
remove the cover (2).
– Take out the screw (1).
: Remove the metering lever (2)
with cable (3).

– Disconnect the cable (3).
Installing
: Push the cable (1) into the
metering lever and engage it in
the slot (arrow).
: Position the metering lever (2)
with cable (3) against the handle
housing.
: Fit the cable (2) in the
guide (arrow).

: Insert and tighten down the
screw (1) firmly.
: Fit the cover (1).
: Insert and tighten down the
screw (2) firmly.
– Check operation.
– Rotary shutter must be
completely closed in end position
– adjust cable if necessary,
