A. Checking the phase sequence:
There are two types of KLM controls attached.
Since approx. 2002 they have an automatic
rotating field control. It shows various fault
signals listed below, via the monitoring lights.
When there are controls without rotating field
control, the phase sequence must be checked
at the main switch and at the motor contactor.
Meaning of the monitoring lights :
Green Orange Status
ON OFF OK
OFF ON Phase sequence
inversed
ON ON 1 Phase missing
OFF OFF More than 1 phase is
missing
1.2 Motor has no function (control function present)
1. One or more phases not present
2. Motor protection switch has tripped
3. Motor contactor faulty
