6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Disconnect electrical supply before working on the pump.
6.2. Turn off water supplies to the pump and release pressure by opening water
outlets before attempting maintenance.
6.3. Cleaners, Disinfectants and Descalents: Acid based descalents and aggressive
cleaning agents must not come into contact with the pump. The pump must be
removed from the system prior to the use of these products. The system should
be flushed to remove all chemicals before the pump is reconnected. If in any
doubt as to the suitability of the chemical solutions, please contact our
TechAssist helpline on +44 (0) 800 31 969 80.
6.4. When the ambient temperature is lower than 4°C and the pump is not in use,
the pump chamber should be drained of water to protect internal components.
