aftercooled compressor without adequate freeze
protection where it will be exposed to temperature
less than 32_F(0_C).
4.3 SERVICE AIR PIPING
Service air piping should be installed as shown in
F i g u r e 4 --- 1 . A s h u t --- o f f v a l v e s h o u l d b e i n s t a l l e d t o
isolate a compressor from the service line if re-
quired. Also notice that the service line should be
equipped with water legs and condensate drains
throughout the system.

use of thermoplastic pipe to transport compressed
air or other compressed gases in exposed above
ground locations, e.g. in exposed plant piping.” (I)
Sullube 32 should not be used with PVC piping sys-
tems. It may affect the bond at cemented joints. Cer-
tain other plastic materials may also be affected.
