5.1 FILE MENU—USER
PROFILES AND
PREFERENCES
User Profiles are used to configure the WSPC
software for a specific user or group of users.
Settings made in a profile only change the
appearance and action of the software program and
do not affect the operation of the WS Controller or
compressor. The User Profiles option allows the
operator to view profile settings, modify a profile,
create a new profile, save current settings as a new
profile, and switch profiles.
USER PROFILE OPTION
To view the preferences of the current running
profile:
1. Click “File” in the menu bar (Figure 5-1).
2. Select “Profiles”. The User Profiles window
will open displaying settings for the current
profile. See Figure 5-2.
3. To see the settings of a different profile, click
the name of a profile to be viewed from the
list in the lower half of the window. The set-
tings for the selected profile will be pre-
sented in the fields in the upper section of
the window.
4. The “User Name” displays the name of the
active profile. The name can be an individual
name, group name, machine, etc.
5. The “Notes” field displays information relat-
ing to the profile entered when the profile
was created.
6. The “Language” field displays the current
language setting for the WSPC displays.
7. “Units” settings display the units of measure
displayed by the WSPC software. Setting of
the units here will not affect the units dis-
played on the WS Controller interface. The
following unit settings are available.
Pressure—Displays pressures in units of
PSI, Bar, or kPa.
Temperature – Displays temperatures in
units of Deg F or Deg C.
Flow—Displays air flow in units of ACFM,
M3/hr, M3/min, L/min, and L/sec.
Power—Displays power in units of KW or
HP.
Volume—Displays volume in units of KCF,
Feet3, Gallons (US), Liters, M3, and KM3.
