BASE INSTALLATION WITH VEHICLE LAP/SHOULDER BELT
Route the lap/shoulder belt through the
BLUE belt guides on both sides of the base.
MAKE SURE not to twist the belt and make
sure it lies at.
MAKE sure the lap/shoulder belt is routed
through both blue belt guides on either side
of the base. BUCKLE the belt.
Close the belt tensioning arm. Lock the
vehicle shoulder belt by pulling shoulder
belt all the way out then feeding back into
retractor.
In some vehicles, there may be a folded
piece of webbing or a plastic button on the
lap/shoulder belt.
If during installation the folded webbing or
plastic button interfere with the belt guide
or the belt tensioning arm, you may need
to adjust the recline foot as long the base
is still level or move the base to another
seating location.
If this does not help you may need to try
a different installation method such as
LATCH.
