While squeezing the
Carrier Release Handle,
lift the Carrier out of
the Base.
To Release
the Base
Press the button on
the Belt Tightening
Handle.
While still pressing
the button, rotate the
Handle all the way to
the left until you hear
and feel a “pop!”
While holding the
Handle to the left and
pressing the button, use
your other hand to pull
the Base away from the
vehicle seat. The
webbing will unwind
from the Spool.

To Detach
LATCH
Connectors
Press the red button
on the LATCH
connector while pulling
the connector off the
vehicle anchor in the
seat bight (crease of the
vehicle seat).
Store LATCH
connectors in storage
area on bottom of Base
facing up.
