Why is the water in my Sunrise spas Hot Tub not hot enough?
    • T
      Tyrone KennedyAug 5, 2025
There could be several reasons why your Sunrise spas Hot Tub water isn't hot enough. First, check if the set point is at the desired level and change it if necessary. Ensure the circulation pump is running and that the valves on the circulation pump/heater system are open. Make sure the spa is covered when not in use to retain heat. If an error message is displayed, check for open gate valves, correct the water level, and examine the filter cartridge(s). Turn the spa power off and back on. If the issue persists, contact your dealer. The system input current setting might also be restricting heater operation, so consult with your dealer or electrician. Finally, consider adding insulation to protect the underside of the spa from cold winds or snow.

What to do if GFCI/RCD shuts off on Sunrise spas 870 S Hot Tub?
    • M
      Michaela HoltAug 9, 2025
If the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or Residual Current Detector (RCD) shuts off (not on initial start-up) in your Sunrise spas Hot Tub, it could be due to a short in one or more pieces of equipment or because the total current draw exceeds the GFCI/RCD rating. Contact your dealer and DO NOT use the spa. Take measures to ensure others do not use the spa.

What to do if my Sunrise spas Hot Tub is completely dead?
    • N
      Nicolas PriceAug 13, 2025
If your Sunrise spas Hot Tub is completely dead, with no circulation and no display, start by checking if the GFCI/RCD has tripped and reset it. If the problem persists, alert your dealer. Also, check the breaker or fuse before the GFCI/RCD; if tripped or blown, shut off the GFCI/RCD, reset the breaker or replace the fuse, and then reset the GFCI/RCD. If it continues, contact an electrician or your dealer. Another potential cause is a blown transformer fuse in the spa pack, which you can test and replace, or contact your dealer for service. Finally, insufficient line voltage could be the issue, so contact an electrician to measure line voltages and inspect supply connections.

How to fix Sunrise spas 870 S jets not working?
    • S
      Shelly WatsonAug 17, 2025
If the jets on your Sunrise spas Hot Tub aren't working when you press the pump key, first ensure the jet pump is plugged into the spa pack and test it. Check the jet pump fuse in the spa pack and replace it if blown. If the problem persists, contact your dealer. Also, the jet pump may not be primed; shut off the spa to allow trapped air to escape, then restart it. If problems continue, bleed air at the pump directly. Make sure the individually adjustable volume jets are not set too low and the air control is open. If the pump has overheated, wait for it to cool and reset. If the motor works but there is no water movement, contact your dealer for service.

Why is there no air/water mixture coming from a jet in my Sunrise spas Hot Tub?
    • G
      Gabrielle Howard DDSAug 22, 2025
If there's no air/water mixture coming from a jet in your Sunrise spas Hot Tub, first check if the air control is closed and open it. If the water volume through the jet is too low, increase it by turning the jet face. Also, check if the adjustable jet internal is loose and tighten it. If the jet internal is broken or damaged, replace it. Finally, inspect the jet internal for debris, remove it, and reinstall it.

How to fix GFCI/RCD shutting off on initial start-up of Sunrise spas 870 S Hot Tub?

      williamsautumnAug 30, 2025
If the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or Residual Current Detector (RCD) shuts off on the initial start-up of your Sunrise spas Hot Tub, it may be due to mis-wiring of the GFCI/RCD. Contact an electrician and/or your dealer.
