General Warnings
GENERAL WARNINGS
All electrical installations must be done in accor-
dance with local and National Electrical Code® ANSI/
NFPA 70. For installation in Canada the installations
must be done in accordance with applicable Cana-
dian standards.
The NTX contains no user-serviceable parts except
for the fans on the buttom of the enclose and the
filters behind the fans. For all repair and main-
tenance, always return the unit to an authorized
Sunways Service Center.
Before installing or using the NTX, read all of the
instructions, cautions and warnings in the user
manual.
Before connecting the NTX to the electrical utility
grid, contact the local utility company. This connec-
tion must be made only by qualified personnel.
Warning of the NTX must be made by qualified
personnel only.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock and fire. Use only with PV
modules with a maximum system voltage of rating
of 550 V or lower.
Observe the operating instructions
Read the product’s documentation before working
on it. Follow all safety precautions and instructions
as described in the documentation.

UL 1714 is the standard applied by Canadian Stan-
dards Association to the NTX to certify that it meets
the requirements of National Electrical Code
®
and
functionality necessary to ensure compatible opera-
tion when power generation is connected to the
utility grid.
