TO CHANGE THE SUGAR TUBE IN
FLAVORSHOT DISPENSERS

NOTE: You may have to remove a flavor tank adjacent to the
sugar tube fitting to give you easy access to the sugar tube
fitting at the center of the bottom row of flavor tanks – so
before beginning the tube change, open the dispenser door,
slide the tank shelves forward, check for access, and if you
must remove a tank, note the adjacent tank you will remove. If
you have large hands, you may need to remove two tanks. To
begin this procedure, the dispenser door must be closed.
Ensure the new tube is cleaned and sanitized before it is placed in
the dispenser.
1. Place a catch container under the Product Dispensing Block to catch any residual flavor and to
prevent spills. Use a clean container if you plan to return the flavor to the flavor tank.
2. If you must remove an adjacent flavor tank to gain access, drain flavor from the tank (two if
required) adjacent to the sugar line:
a. Press the Flavor button for the tank to be removed.
b. Before the red light on the Flavor button goes out, press and hold the Clean button for 2
seconds. The Clean button is located on the bottom left of the button panel on the dispenser
door.
Allow the pump system to empty all residual product from the flavor tank into the catch
container. When the flavor tank and pump are empty, press the Clean button again to cancel
the remainder of the clean cycle.
Discard the drained liquid OR set it aside if you plan to return it to
the tank.
3. Open the dispenser door and slide the tank shelves forward.
Lift up the empty flavor tank(s) from the pump body and remove.
Set the tank(s) aside to replace in Step 6.
4. Remove the old sugar tube:
a. remove the barbed fitting at the end of the tube from the hex fitting
on the tank shelf.
b. pull the sugar tube to create enough slack to remove tube from
barbed fitting.
c. remove the barbed fitting from the tube.
d. remove the back panel from the dispenser. Remove the 10 screws – retain for re-assembly.
e. at the back of the dispenser, pull the tube through and out of the dispenser and out from the
back panel. Discard the used sugar tube.
5. Install the new sugar tube:
a. insert the soft tube end of the new tube through the hole in the back panel, entering the hole
from the outside face of the panel.
b. thread the tube through the grommetted hole in the metal panel, through to the front of the
dispenser.
c. pull the tube through from the front of the dispenser and attach it to the barbed fitting on the
tank shelf.
d. insert the barbed fitting into the hex fitting on the pump shelf.
