What to do if my SureShot SureTouch intellishot Dispenser does not dispense product?

  If your SureShot Dispenser isn't dispensing product, make sure all the required selections have been made by following the Dispensing Product procedure. Also, check that product loading procedures have been completed. Ensure the product delivery tube isn't twisted, kinked, pinched off, or blocked, and that the product isn't frozen in the tube. Clean the valve area and valve assembly. Turn the power off, wait ten seconds, and then turn it back on. Finally, make sure all steps for 'Dispenser does not turn on' are followed.

  If the dispense amounts from your SureShot Dispenser are incorrect, ensure the valve door is closed securely and the thumbscrew is tight. Make sure the product dispense tube is properly aligned in the center of the valve, and that the product delivery tubes are not twisted, kinked, pinched off, or blocked. Check the product tank spout for cracks or fraying, and ensure the product location is correct in the product compartment (e.g., cream on left, milk on right). Verify that the product temperature is between 32 ºF/0 ºC to 40 ºF/4.4 ºC. Also, ensure the valve area and valve assembly are clean, and that the valve assembly is assembled and installed correctly. Finally, ensure the valve door was not opened and then closed with partial product left in the product compartment.

  If your SureShot Dispenser is leaking, ensure the valve door is closed securely and the thumbscrew is tight. Check that the product dispense tube is properly aligned in the center of the valve.   If the LCD display on the front door of your SureShot Dispenser is blank, perform the Dispensing Product procedure. If the solenoid does not respond, refer to the troubleshooting steps for 'Dispenser does not turn on'. If the solenoid responds, the LCD may be faulty.

How to troubleshoot a SureShot SureTouch intellishot Dispenser that does not turn on?

  To address a SureShot Dispenser that does not turn on, ensure it is plugged into an active power source and that the power switch is in the ON position. Also, make sure the dispenser’s circuit breaker hasn’t tripped. Turn the power switch to the OFF position, then locate and depress the 1 amp circuit breaker below the power switch to ensure it hasn't tripped (no white should be showing). If white is showing on the top of the breaker, it is tripped and will make a clicking noise when depressed. Finally, turn the power switch back to the ON position.

  If your SureShot Dispenser is unusually warm on the exterior, ensure a 1" (2.5 cm) air space exists on all sides of the dispenser. Check that the vents at the back of the dispenser are not blocked and that the dispenser is not too close to a heat-generating machine, such as a coffee maker. Check that the condenser is not dirty and that the fan is operating.

  If the side console on your SureShot Dispenser is displaying unexpected characters, ensure the start-up sequence is complete. Turn OFF the power switch, wait ten (10) seconds, then turn the dispenser back ON.

  If your SureShot Dispenser is not level, ensure no objects are under the dispenser or dispenser feet. Check that all four legs at the bottom corners of the dispenser are in place and secure. Adjust the legs to level the dispenser, and ensure the legs are not bent. Replace any bent or missing legs.

  If there is ice or frost in the product compartment of your SureShot Dispenser, check that the temperature inside the product compartment is between 32 ºF/0 ºC to 40 ºF/4.4 ºC. If excessive ice or frost builds up it should be removed. If ice continues to form regularly, adjust the temperature.
