3-100 ENGINE
• Tighten the valve timing inspection plug 7 to the specified
torque.
 Valve timing inspection plug: 11 N·m (1.1 kgf-m)
CYLINDER HEAD COVER AND PAIR REED VALVE
• Pour engine oil in each oil pocket in the cylinder head.
NOTE:
Be sure to check the valve clearance. (
 2-7)
• Install the PAIR reed valves 1 along with the gaskets.

• Install new gasket 2 to the cylinder head cover.
• Apply SUZUKI BOND to the cam end caps of the gasket as
shown.

• Place the cylinder head cover on the cylinder head.
• Fit new gasket 3 to each head cover bolt.

Replace the gaskets with new ones.
Use new gasket to prevent oil leakage.
