2B-5 Front Suspension:
• Connect the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle and
tighten the tie-rod end nut to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Tie-rod end nut (b): 29 N·m (2.9 kgf-m, 21.0 lb-ft)
• Install new cotter pin (1).
CAUTION
!
The removed cotter pin (1) must be replaced
with a new one.
• Apply thread lock to the brake disc cover mounting
bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.
: Thread lock cement 99000–32130
(THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1360 or
equivalent)
Tightening torque
Brake disc cover mounting bolt (c): 12 N·m (1.2
kgf-m, 8.5 lb-ft)
• Apply grease to the spline of wheel hub and lip of dust
seal.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
• Install the wheel hub, washer (2) and front hub nut.
NOTE
The conical side of washer (2) faces out side.

• Install the brake caliper. Refer to “Front Brake Caliper
Removal and Installation in Section 4B (Page 4B-3)”.
• Install the front wheel assembly. Refer to “Front / Rear
Wheel Removal and Installation in Section 2D
(Page 2D-3)”.
