ENGINE IDLE SPEED
INSPECTION
Inspect the engine idle speed. The engine
idle speed should be 1200 – 1400 r/min
when the engine is warm.
NOTE: If the engine idle speed is not within
the specified range, ask your dealer to
inspect and repair the motorcycle.
DRIVE CHAIN
DESCRIPTION
This motorcycle has an endless drive chain
constructed from special materials. It does
not use a master link. We recommend that
you take your motorcycle to your dealer if
the drive chain needs to be replaced.
The condition and adjustment of the drive
chain should be checked each day before
you ride. Always follow the guidelines for
inspecting and servicing the chain.
WARNING
Too much chain slack can cause the
chain to come off the sprockets, result-
ing in a crash or serious damage to the
motorcycle.
Inspect and adjust the drive chain slack
before each use.
