Remove crankshaft and wave washer from right
crankcase.
Remove gasket and dowel pins.
Scrape gasket residues off the crankcase contact
surface.
Caution
y Do not damage contact surface of the gasket.
y It is better to moisten the gasket residue for
easy scrapping.
Drive out left crankcase oil seal.
Crankshaft Inspection
Use a thickness gauge to measure left and right
clearance of connecting rod big end.
Service limit: 0.6 mm
Measure point for the crank
big end of the connecting rod.
