PROGRAMMING
Firmware Updates:
The machine’s rmware is the basis for all of its programming features as made available by the handheld
controller. Synesso provides updates to the rmware as needed in order to make improvements to the func-
onality of the machine. Firmware updates require access to the electrical box and main electronics board
of the machine and must be performed by a qualied technician.
S Series machines run o of rmware versions 2.xx, starng with version 2.59 and proceeding up unl the
current version 2.64 (as of 2020). If the machine is running o of an older rmware version and you would
like to update to the current version—so as to make certain features available and receive the most improved
machine funconalies—please have a qualied technician reach out to Synesso Technical Support. One of
our technicians can provide the latest rmware and instrucons needed to perform the update.
The rmware that is currently installed on the machine can be viewed on the start-up screen of the handheld
controller when powering the machine on (see picture below).
This start-up screen appears momentarily when the machine power is cycled on. The rmware can be
viewed in the upper right corner of the screen, in this case v2.59.
