2.3.1SupplyandExtractairFans
ThefanshaveexternalrotormotorsofECtypewhichcanbesteplesslycontrolledindividually0–100%.It
ispossibletoprogramthespeedin2steps(normal/reduced)dependingontheprogrammingoftheweek
schedule.Themotorbearingsarelifetimelubricatedandmaintenancefree.Itispossibletoremovethe
fansforcleaning,seechapter5formoreinformation.
2.3.1.1PressuretransmitterFans
2pressuretransmittersmaintaintheairowataconstantlevelbymeasuringthedifferentialpressureover
theinletconeofthefanimpellers(pos.10gure1,gure2).Thepressuretransmittersareinstalledfrom
factoryinallunitswithCAVcontrol.InVAVunitsthepressuretransmitterswillnotbemountedintheunit
fromfactory.Insteadtheywillbedeliveredlooselywiththeunittobemountedinthesupplyandextractair
ducts,see“Installationinstructions”formoreinformationconcerningVAVinstalltions.
2.3.2SupplyandExtractairFilters
TheltersareofbagltertypewithlterqualityF7forthesupplyairlterandF5fortheextractairlter.
Theltersneedtobereplacedwhenpolluted.Newsetsoflterscanbeacquiredfromyourinstalleror
wholesaler.
2.3.2.1Pressureguardlters
Apressureguardmeasuresthedifferentialpressureoverthesupplyandextractairlters(pos.9gure
1,gure2).Whenthepressuredropreachesthesetvalueanalarmistriggeredinthemainregulator.
Thedifferentialpressurecanbesetbetween40and300Pa.Thepressureswitchispresetfromfactory
to240Pa.
2.3.3HeatExchanger
TopvexSR/TRmodelsareequippedwithahighlyefcient,beltdriven,rotatingheatexchanger.Required
supplyairtemperatureisthereforenormallymaintainedwithoutaddingadditionalheat.Theoperationof
theheatexchangerisautomaticanddependsonthesettemperature.Anextradrivingbeltisincludedon
therotorondelivery(pos.8gure1,gure2).
TheT opvexTRheatexchangerisremovableforcleaningandmaintenance,seechapter5formore
information.
2.3.3.1Rotormotor
Therotormotordrivestheexchangerrotorwithaninnitelyrpmaslongasthereisaheatdemand.The
motoriscontrolledbyananalogue0-10Vcontrolsignal(pos.6gure1andgure2).
2.3.3.2Rotationguard
Abuilt-inrotationguardintheheatexchangercontrolregisterstherotationoftheheatexchangerrotor.If
theheatexchangerstopswhenthereisaheat/coolingdemandtheexchangercontrollergivesanalarm
signaltothemaincontroller.
