Remove the probe and stage from the instrument.
Remove the outer cover around the shuttle assembly.
Remove the weight tray and tape the nylon screw in place.
Remove the 8 shoulder screws from the front support bracket.
Slide the front support bracket between the upper and lower suspensions.
Slide the rear supports between the upper and lower suspensions.
Install shoulder bolts through the front support bracket into the rear support brackets.
Install the outer clamp above and below the upper and lower suspensions.
Install the outer clamp bolt and tighten to immobilize the suspension.
Install the rear shipping foam support under the lower weights.
Lower the furnace and tape the weight tray into the top of the furnace.
Place the cardboard sleeve over the furnace lift shaft.
Tighten the lockdown cap into the furnace lift shaft to immobilize the furnace.
Press the Control button on the Q400 display panel.
Press Shutdown, then Apply, and wait for confirmation of safe shutdown.
Turn off the power switch located on the back of the instrument.
Bolt the Q400 down onto the shipping pallet and cover with the cardboard box.
Strap the cardboard box securely over the pallet and instrument.
Seal the box and affix the green return label to the top.
