If the unique ID column is missing from the CSV file, then each
row in the CSV file will be given an ID number starting from 1
when being imported
No changes will be made to the base station configuration if any of the
above requirements are not met, or if any value is otherwise invalid.
The following information should also be taken into consideration:
Embedded line breaks are not supported
Embedded commas are supported. Values with an embedded comma
must be surrounded by double quotes. For example, enter
“Channel
1,2”
.
Embedded double quotes are supported. Values with embedded double
quotes must:
a. Be surrounded by double quotes, and
b. Have every embedded double quote doubled. For example, enter
"SigProf ""one""".
Leading and trailing whitespace around a value will be ignored
Empty rows will be ignored (an empty row = nothing but a line break,
or only commas and a line break)
Leading zeros are removed from octets in IP addresses, save for the last
digit
For boolean values, “true” and “1” are both accepted to mean true, and
“false” and “0” are both accepted to mean false (this is case-insensitive)
Columns that do not match any columns in the table being imported will
be ignored. Columns in an imported CSV that are not in that table in the
database will be ignored. You will be notified of any ignored columns
upon a successful import.
For tables where you can add and delete rows, importing a CSV file will
replace the entire table with the contents of the file
For tables where you cannot add or delete rows, importing a CSV file
will replace only the rows in the table which are present in the CSV file
UTF-8 characters are supported, but due to character encodings, they
may take up more of the allowed length than expected. Some UTF-8
characters can account for up to 5 characters.
Base Station
Identity
Each base station in a network has a unique base station and network
identity.
Select Identity > Identity and then Base Station or Network to view details
such as name, default channel and network addresses. Note that the host
