General care
Your radio requires no regular maintenance other than
ensuring that the battery has sufficient charge and that no
damage has occurred to the antenna or the battery.
To prevent permanent damage to the radio case, do not
allow the radio to come into contact with detergents,
alcohol, aerosol sprays, or petroleum-based products.

page 57.
Cleaning the radio
If you need to clean the radio case, use a cloth dampened
with clean water. Do not immerse the radio in fluids.
