Download the update from the website
First, make sure your TalkTalk router is connected to the internet.
To speed things up, we recommend you connect it to your
computer using the yellow Ethernet cable.
Go to talktalk.co.uk/routerupdate and click on
‘Download now’. The download will not currently work on Tablets.
Then simply follow the instructions screen by screen:

Welcome screen...
When you see this screen, you’re
ready to set up your YouView box
Get your TalkTalk router ready for TV

If you were recently sent a new TalkTalk
router, you do not need to update it
