Function Description

The MOVEAUDIO S150 earphones offer a truly wireless audio experience, allowing users to listen to music and manage phone calls without physical cables. They connect to smartphones and other Bluetooth® devices, providing freedom of movement. The earphones feature multi-function buttons for controlling music playback, managing calls, and activating voice assistants. They are designed to be used with mobile devices that support the Bluetooth® standard, specifically compatible with HFP (Hands-free profile), A2DP (Advanced audio distribution profile for Bluetooth® stereo), and AVRCP (Audio video remote control profile).

The charging case serves as both a protective storage unit and a portable charging solution for the earphones. It has LED indicators to show its charging status and a USB Type-C slot for charging the case itself. The earphones automatically begin charging when placed inside the case.

Usage Features

Getting Started:

To begin, users should remove the earphones from the charging case. They will automatically power on and provide a voice notification. The LED indicators on both earphones will flash, and they will connect to each other, followed by another voice notification. The right earphone's LED indicator will then flash, indicating that the earphones are in pairing mode and ready to connect to a smartphone or Bluetooth® device.

Pairing with a Smartphone/Bluetooth® Device (First Time):

1. Remove the earphones from the charging case.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth® function on the smartphone.
3. Select "TCL MOVEAUDIO S150" from the list of available devices. If prompted for a password, enter '0000'. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.

Pairing with a New Bluetooth® Device:

• Auto Pairing: Ensure the Bluetooth® function of any previously connected device is turned off or manually disconnected. Then, follow the steps for first-time pairing.
• Manual Pairing: While the earphones are on, press and hold the multi-function button on the right earphone for 5 seconds. The earphones will enter pairing mode, a voice notification will be heard, and the right earphone's LED indicator will flash. Then, turn on the smartphone's Bluetooth® function and select "TCL MOVEAUDIO S150."

The earphones can store up to 10 different connected devices. If more than 10 devices are connected, the earliest connected device will be replaced by the latest one.

Wearing the Earphones:

The manual provides visual instructions for properly wearing the earphones to ensure comfort and optimal sound delivery.

Powering On/Off:

• Power On: Remove the earphones from the charging case, or press and hold the multi-function buttons on both earphones simultaneously for 2 seconds.
• Power Off: Place the earphones back into the charging case, or press and hold the multi-function buttons on both earphones simultaneously for 8 seconds. If the earphones fail to connect to any Bluetooth® device within 5 minutes, they will automatically switch off to conserve battery life.

Reconnecting to a Smartphone/Bluetooth® Device:

1. Turn on the smartphone or Bluetooth® device.
2. Turn on the earphones. They will automatically reconnect to the last connected device. It is recommended to turn on the smartphone's Bluetooth® device or activate its Bluetooth® feature before turning on the earphones to ensure automatic reconnection.

Switching Between Stereo and Mono Modes:

• Mono Mode: Only the right earphone can be used in mono mode. If both earphones are in the charging case, remove only the right earphone. It will power on and connect to the smartphone/Bluetooth® device automatically, operating in mono mode.
• Switching Back to Stereo Mode: If the right earphone is in mono mode, remove the left earphone from the charging case. Both earphones will reconnect with each other, returning to stereo mode.
• Switching Back to Mono Mode (from Stereo): If both earphones are in stereo mode, simply place the left earphone back into the charging case. The right earphone will then operate in mono mode.

Music Control:

• Play or Pause: Press the right earphone's multi-function button twice.
• Skip Forward: Press and hold the right earphone's multi-function button for 2 seconds.
• Skip Backward: Press and hold the left earphone's multi-function button for 2 seconds. Note that skip forward/backward operations are not available in mono mode.

Voice Assistant:

Users can activate Siri® or Google Assistant™ on their smartphone through the earphones. Press the left earphone's multi-function button twice to activate the voice assistant. A start-up sound will be heard, after which users can make requests through the earphone's microphone.

Call Control:

• Pick Up or Hang Up a Call: Press either the left or right earphone's multi-function button twice.
• Reject an Incoming Call: Press and hold either the left or right earphone's multi-function button for 2 seconds. Call control operations are not available in mono mode.

Maintenance Features

Charging the Battery:

• Charging Case: Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the USB Type-C slot on the charging case and then to a USB AC adapter. The LED indicator on the front of the charging case will flash during charging and become solid when charging is complete.
• Earphones: Place the earphones into the charging case. They will automatically start charging, and their LED indicators will turn on. The LED indicators will turn off when charging is complete. The earphones can also be charged in the charging case using the USB Type-C cable.

For first-time use, charge the battery for 5 hours to optimize battery capacity and lifetime. Subsequent normal charges take approximately 2 hours. Only use the supplied USB charging cable and a certified USB adapter (DC 5V, 0.5A output current or more) to prevent product damage. If the charging case's LED indicator continuously flashes, it means the case is in protection mode. Unplug and re-plug the USB Type-C cable to restart charging. If the issue persists, replace the cable.

Resetting the Earphones:

If connection or pairing issues occur, the earphones can be reset:

1. Remove "TCL MOVEAUDIO S150" from the Bluetooth list on your smartphone and turn off the smartphone's Bluetooth function.
2. Remove both earphones from the charging case.
3. Long press one side button for up to 6 seconds to turn off that earphone, then repeat for the other earphone. Both buttons can be pressed simultaneously to turn them off together or separately.
4. Press the button on each earphone. A voice notification will be heard, and the LED will flash. It's best to do this simultaneously to help them find each other. Pay attention to the voice notifications.
5. Wait a few seconds for the two earphones to connect. The LED indicator on the earphones will flash for 1 minute, indicating pairing mode.
6. The earphones can now be connected to a device or placed back in the charging case to turn them off. For early released products, if "device active" is not heard in step 4, the operation is the same, but the earphones will not connect automatically in step 5. In this case, press the right earphone button twice to initiate the connection.

General Safety Information:

• Avoid exposing earphones to excessive heat or dropping them.
• The earphones are resistant to dripping and splashing water, but the charging case is not waterproof. Always wipe off any moisture from the earphones before placing them in the charging case.
• Do not submerge earphones in water.
• Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasives. If cleaning is needed, use a soft cloth, dampened with a minimum amount of water or diluted mild soap.
• The integrated battery should not be exposed to excessive heat (sunshine, fire, etc.).
• The product should be operated or stored in temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F) with up to 90% relative humidity (no condensation). Battery life may be shorter in extreme temperatures.
• Charging should occur when the temperature is between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F).
• The earphones and charging case contain magnets, which may affect implanted medical devices. Users with such devices should consult their physician before use.

Disposal:

Check local waste regulations for proper disposal of electronic products. To protect the environment, remove and recycle the headphone battery before disposal. Contact an authorized service center for safe battery removal to prevent damage or injury. The product is designed with high-quality, recyclable materials and components. It complies with European Directives 2012/19/EU (for the product) and 2013/56/EU (for the built-in rechargeable battery). Dispose of the product and battery at an official collection point.
