SIMUL-SYNC
function.
By
changing
the
head
function
for
each
track
from
record
to
monitor,

4-track
synchronization
is
possible.
Placing
the
head
function
selector
switch
in
the
SIMUL-SYNC
position
allows
immediate
monitoring
of
the
selected
track
for
synchronization
with
any
other
track.
NOTE:
To
prevent
switch
noise
from
damaging
your
tapes
or
speakers,
always
fully
retard
the
OUTPUT
level
control
for
the
head
or
channel
to
be
switched,
before
changing
the
switch
position.
Do
not
change
switch
position
while
tape
is
in
motion
(recording
or
playback).

Capstan:
Provides
constant
speed
drive
for
tape.
.
Pinch
roller:
Engages
tape
to
capstan
at
constant
pressure.
Shut-off
arm:
This
arm
automatically
shuts
off
the
tape
transport
when
tape
is
completely
rewound
or
if
the
tape
breaks
during
transport.
Switch
removes
power
when
it
comes
to
rest
at
horizontal
position.
