Speaker Size Setting
Each time the SELECT button is pressed, the setting is changed
as follows:
FL-CL-SL / FL-CL-SN / FL-CS-SL / FL-CN-SL / FL-CS-SN /
FL-CN-SS / FS-CS-SS / FS-CS-SN / FS-CN-SS / FL-CS-SS /
FL-CL-SS
(F : front, C : center, S : surround left and right, L : large,
S : small, N : none)
Large:
Select this when the connected speakers can fully reproduce
sounds below 80 Hz.
Small:
Select this when the connected speakers are rather small and
cannot reproduce sounds below 80 Hz.
When this setting is selected, bass frequencies below 80 Hz
are output from the sub-woofer (if no sub-woofer is
connected, from the front speakers).
None:
Select this when no speaker is connected. The sound is output
from the front (or surround) speakers.
<
Depending on your selection, settings available for each
speaker changes.
<
When the front speaker is set to "FS (small)", the sub-woofer is
set to "SUB W-Y (yes)" automatically, and bass frequencies of
the front channels are output from a sub-woofer. A powered
sub-woofer is indispensable for this setting.
Surround Back Speaker Setting
< When the surround left and right speakers are set to "SN
(none)", the surround back speaker is also set to "SUR B-N
(none)" automatically.
SUR B-L (Surround Back-Large):
Select this when a large surround back speaker is connected.
SUR B-S (Surround Back-Small):
Select this when the surround back speaker is rather small.
SUR B-N (Surround Back-None):
Select this when no surround back speaker is connected.
The surround back channel will be output from surround left
and right speakers.
