Operators running the hoisting equipment must remain at an
adequate distance from the hoisted part and must ensure that
no people or property are exposed to danger if the display case
should drop.
Always observe the following regulations when handling:
▶ Avoid any abrupt motion that may lead to jolts.
▶ Do not tilt the machine.
▶ Always check the machine during handling.
Damages caused by handling errors are not
covered by the WARRANTY.
3.8 POSITIONING IN THE INSTALLATION AREA
The position of the display case is a very important factor that
can compromise proper machine operation. Correct positioning
influences the life of the display case and its components.
Above all, however, it affects system operating expenses.
We advise you to carefully follow the instructions below;
our Technical Servicing Office can give you any additional
clarifications that may be needed.

The installation environment MUST BE DI -
MENSIONED to the showcase model. In the
event of gas escaping into an environment, a
HAZARDOUS flammable gas and air mixture
may be created. The environment where the
refrigerated appliance is installed MUST HAVE
a minimum volume of 19 m
3
for each refriger -
ant circuit present.
NEVER PERFORM ANY OPERATIONS THAT ARE NOT
CLEAR.
Place the machine in its final point of installation, observing the
following precautions.
▶ Check that the floor is level.
▶ NEVER place the display case near: doors, windows,
sources of heat (e.g. radiators, heaters, etc.).
▶ The display case must be protected from direct
sunlight.

▶ NEVER place the display case outdoors; since
atmospheric agents will damage it, making it unreliable
and dangerous far the operator and customers.
▶ It is necessary to NEVER position boxes or other that
can prevent the passage of the air in front of the cooling
grids of the condensing unit.

3.9 UNPACKING
All the unpacked materials can be recycled in
order to dispose of them according local legis-
lation. Be sure to destroy plastic components to
prevent any hazards (suffocation) to children.
▶ Using a suitable tool, remove the straps that secure the
cardboard box to the pallet.
▶ Remove the cardboard box.
▶ At the rear of the machine, remove the two screws V
secure it to the pallet during transportation (Fig. 8).
