again, then “LOUDNESS" indication turns off.
Switching between the <( TV” terminals
(rear side) and <( VCR2” terminals
(front side) SA-EX700 only
The TV/VCR 2 input select button works for both TV input and input
from the source connected to the front side “VCR2” terminals (see
above illustration).
Select the source as described here below.
1. Press TV/VCR2 (input select button).
2. Press TV/VCR2 ( jl Tv VCR2) to set to the
desired position.
Either "TV” or “FRT-VCR2” will appear on the display.
The message “MUTING ON NOW” runs repeat¬
edly from right to left across the display as long
as the muting function is on.
Press once again to return to the previous vol¬
ume level.
Use VOLUME to reduce the volume level, and con¬
nect the headphones.
If you do not want sound from the speakers, press SPEAKERS but¬
ton^) and check the speaker indicator(s) goes out.
With these receiver models, you can silence sound from the sub¬
woofer by turning the SUBWOOFER LEVEL knob on the receiver
to “MiN”.
If a subwoofer is connected to your system, turn off power to It (or
the subwoofer amp you are using) or lower the volume to the mini-
mum le vel.
