System settings
In the system settings you will find the multifunction settings for the device. You can access the
system settings as follows:

Press the MENU button and select [Main menu] > [System settings].

Equalizer
Here you can make sound settings to adjust the sound to your liking. You can adjust the treble or
bass tones and save them in the My Equalizer area or select presets.
>
Open the system settings menu and select > [Equalizer] with the OK/SNOOZE knob,
then confirm the selection by pressing the OK/SNOOZE knob.
>
Turn the OK/SNOOZE knob to select a preset. You can choose between Normal, Mid,
Jazz, Rock, Soundtrack, Classical, Pop, News and My EQ.

The My EQ preselection can be adjusted in [My EQ Settings]. To change it, select bass
or treble. Confirm your selection by pressing the OK/SNOOZE knob. The bass and
treble curves can now be changed from -6 to +6 by rotating the OK/ SNOOZE knob.
The setting is saved by pressing the OK/SNOOZE button.

Time
Under [System settings] > [Time and date], you can make various time and date settings and
change the display formats.
>
Select [Set time/date] to manually set the time and date if you do not want them
to be set automatically by the Internet, DAB+ or FM. Select the appropriate value
by turning the OK/SNOOZE knob. Pressing the OK/SNOOZE knob takes you one
option further.
>
Select [Time Update] to specify from which source the time/date should be
automatically updated. You can choose from:

DAB+ update The time and date are set automatically only via DAB+
•
FM update The time and date are set automatically in FM mode only
•
Network update Time and date are set automatically via the Internet only
•
No update The time and date must be set manually.
>
In [Set format], you can set the format for the time display.
>
In [Set time zone], you can set the device's time zone (only if time update from NET
is selected).
>
You specify daylight saving time and winter time using the [Daylight saving time?]
setting (only if NET time update is selected).
