Problems with device
Possible cause / solution
The device cannot be switched on.
Charge the battery or connect the power supply
to the radio. Turn on the power switch.
Turn up the volume. If you want to listen through
the speakers, disconnect the headphone plug
from the device. You may have selected the
wrong source.
A mobile phone or other device in the vicinity of
the device emits harmful radio waves. Remove
the mobile phone or device from the area
around the device.
There are other operating problems,
loud noises or a disturbed display.
Electronic components of the unit are
malfunctioning. Unplug the power cord and
turn off the power switch. Leave the unit
unplugged from the power source for
approximately 10 seconds. Reconnect the
unit.
The display does not turn on.
Switch off the appliance. Pull the plug
o u t o f t h e socket,
reconnect it, switch on the
device. Check the brightness setting of the
display.
