AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
1. General
This Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) gives instructions for maintenance personnel to
service and maintain the TECNAM P2012 aircraft. The AMM provides sufficient information
to inspect, fault isolate and to complete the removal/installation and test/adjustment of
equipment as well as the repair of certain systems. To provide a coverage as complete as
possible, optional equipment has been included in the manual.
The AMM contains wiring diagrams for the electrical system.
Use the following manuals with the AMM and the related Service Bulletins:
- P2012 Aircraft Flight Manual
- P2012 Illustrated Parts Catalogue
- Components Maintenance and Operating Manuals for vendor equipment
In the event that the aircraft should be maintained and/or operated with the
recommended parts and/or recommended components that are not approved by TECNAM
and/or its supplier and vendor, all warranties will be rendered null and void upon installation
of such parts and/or components.
2. Warning, Cautions and Notes
Obey all the usual safety precautions and maintenance instructions when doing
maintenance.
This AMM also contains warnings, cautions and notes before applicable instructions:
WARNING:
A WARNING STATES THE PERSON DOING THE MAINTENANCE THAT
INJURY OR DEATH IS POSSIBLE IF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
CAUTION:
A CAUTION STATES THE PERSON DOING THE MAINTENANCE THAT
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT IS POSSIBLE IF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
NOTE: A Note tells the person doing the maintenance how to make the task easier.
3. Manual Configuration
This manual is written in accordance with the regulations of the Air Transport Association of
America (ATA) Specification. Each system is given a chapter number from the ATA 100.
A. The ATA 100 Numbering System.
The ATA 100 numbering system uses 3 pairs of numbers, for example:
