Tail
Rudder trim actuator operational check. Active trim motor by knob
in cabin and verify the surface movement in accordance with
selected position.

Inspect the horizontal stabilizer attachment fitting to fuselage for
structural integrity and holes for elongation.

Check horizontal stabilizer attachments for proper torque value
(front spar-to-carry trough and rear spar-to-bulkhead mounts).

Inspect the hotizontal stabilizer rear spar for corrosion and Integrity

Inspect elevator for surface damage or irregularities (skin cracks,
distortion, dents and corrosion), loosen or missing rivets, hinges
and bearings damage and excessive wear, free to move. Check for
elevator full travel operation. (Refer to ATA )

Inspect elevator tab for surface condition (damage or irregularities),
loose or missing rivets and security . Check for elevator tab full
travel operation.

Remove tail cone aft fairings and check Elevator mounting plates
for absence of cracks, corrosion and dust, subject to rotation.

Inspect the trim tab to measure the amount free play on the
elevator trim tab control system.

55-00 Stabilizers Visually inspect lubber lines on stabilizers attaching points. In case
of retorquing or replacement (bolt/nut) Re-apply lubber line.

free operation.

interferences, corrosion, rub marks, and worn components.
Inspect cables for tension and condition. Check turnbuckle
locking for security of installation. Inspect cable guards on
pulleys for installation security

27-00 Cabin/Tail Inspect trim and indicators (rudder trim, aileron trim and
elevator trim): check for proper operations, condition and
security. Check related indicators for operation. Visually
inspect torque seal line on tab control rods.

27-00 Cabin/Tail Inspect electrical wires and attaching parts for security,
routing, chafing, deterioration, wear and correct installation.
