2 Overview
Limit switchs are measurement devices which have
switching outputs and produce an output signal consisting
of a directcurrent signal (4 mA ... 20 mA, for three-wire
transmitters 0 mA ... 20 mA).
A limit switch supplies a sensor with power and processes the
signal current.
The EGS80 have an analog output (0 mA/4 mA ... 20 mA) and
two relay outputs, and can therefore be used for a number of
different measurement applications.
