Protocol Summary
The EZE30 digital amplifier are intended for use with standard PC or PLC systems, and require no special interfacing
hardware and no special software adapters.
The command set is based on a simple ASCII format, as per the example below:
Master (PC or PLC) sends: OP 1 (Open the device # 1)
Slave (EZE30) sends: OK (acknowledging device #1 active)
Master sends: GG (Get the gross weight result)
Slave sends: G+123.45 (the gross weight with sign and decimal
point information)
Note: The complete list of available commands is printed on the page 19 of this
manual.
This protocol is standard across the whole range of the instrumentation, so it is possible to mix different types of devices on
the same bus.
Multi-Drop Support
A connection to the required device is opened by sending the OP xxx command, where xxx is the address of the relevant
slave device, in decimal notation. The relevant device responds by acknowledging that it is active, and will then respond to
